Your Value Proposition: “What Makes You Different?”

Many times businesses focus too much on their competition and on being different that they forget what’s really important, their customers.

The biggest thing to keep in mind is that it is not all about being different. It is about adding more value and serving your customers better than anyone else.

Focus on your customers and what they need. Figure out what’s not working and do something to fix it. You want to serve and create more value for your customers.

Because the reality is that most people have no clue what they are doing. They don’t know how to serve their customers because they are so focused on their industry.

So start focusing more on your customers. Focus on ways to deliver more value and how to communicate that value. Once you start doing this you’ll start serving your customer base better and at that point your competition won’t matter.

Since most people don’t know what they’re doing and don’t know how to serve their customers. They lose value. They may be different but that isn’t what matters. What matters is whether your customers are happy or not. There is no value in being different.
